The event took place in a formal and dignified atmosphere with the attendance of representatives from Saigon Port Joint Stock Company, the Investor and Operator Sai Gon – Hiep Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company, as well as members of the BCC Consortium including: Tien Phat Real Estate Investment and Development Co., Ltd.; Tan Thuan Phong Logistics Co., Ltd.; and Ton Dong A Joint Stock Company.

The addition of Warehouse No. 3 and Warehouse No. 4 increases the total warehouse area of the entire port system to more than 17,000 m², enhancing storage capacity and cargo throughput to approximately 800,000 tonnes per year. This development marks a significant milestone, meeting the growing demand for storage, distribution, and transshipment services, while laying the foundation for an international-standard logistics service chain. It strengthens competitiveness and expands the operational scale of the port in the next phase of development.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Warehouse No. 3 and Warehouse No. 4 marks an important milestone, opening a new chapter in the development strategy of Sai Gon – Hiep Phuoc Port. Once operational, the two warehouses will serve as a strong foundation for enhancing competitiveness and reaffirming the Port’s pioneering position in Vietnam’s logistics sector. This will also create momentum for further expansion of warehouse systems in the 16.8-hectare area, the 3.8-hectare area, and subsequent development phases.
