On 12 October 2026, the Orvia Tay Ninh Duck Hatchery was officially inaugurated and commenced operations, marking an important milestone in the development of Vietnam’s waterfowl value chain.

Phuoc Thanh served as the Main Contractor, undertaking the construction, finishing works and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems. From the early stages of implementation through to the official inauguration, Phuoc Thanh worked closely with the Investor and relevant stakeholders to deliver the project in accordance with the required standards for quality, schedule and technical performance. The successful completion of the facility further demonstrates Phuoc Thanh’s capability in delivering industrial projects with specialised technical requirements.

With a total investment of USD 10 million, a site area of 1.5 hectares and a designed annual capacity of 21 million day-old ducklings, the hatchery is expected to help secure a reliable supply of high-quality breeding stock, while promoting the modernisation and sustainable development of Vietnam’s livestock industry.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr Nguyen Minh Lam – Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, described the project as a new link in the province’s modern livestock industry. He emphasised the province’s commitment to developing an agricultural sector that is transparent, modern, responsible, green and sustainable. He also expressed his expectation that the project would strengthen cooperation among businesses, cooperatives and livestock farmers.

From the corporate perspective, Mr Eric Houel – Chief Executive Officer of Orvia Group, affirmed that the hatchery represents more than an investment in physical infrastructure; it is also a vital link in the livestock value chain.
