With fiery competitive spirit and unwavering solidarity, the Phước Thành football team delivered an impressive performance at the 4th Traditional Football Tournament, organized by the Faculty of Construction – Ho Chi Minh City Open University. The tournament was held in celebration of the university’s 35th anniversary and the faculty’s 33rd anniversary.

The tournament served as an opportunity for networking and exchange among construction industry businesses, lecturers, students, and alumni, attracting many strong teams. Representing Phước Thành, the players delivered a highly emotional and dedicated performance throughout the competition.

At the start of the season, the team faced challenges in finding their rhythm and coordinating tactics. However, as the tournament progressed, the players increasingly demonstrated their composure and cohesion—from solid defense to flexible, sharp attacks.

One of the most impressive matches was a dominant 6-goal victory over an opponent, which brought the stands to an uproar of cheers and applause from the spectators.

After two initial matches that didn’t meet expectations, the Phước Thành football team made a strong comeback, demonstrating determination and a never-give-up attitude. The final result: Phước Thành secured third place overall – a proud achievement that truly reflects the “grassroots warrior” spirit of the team.

Beyond the sports aspect, this year’s tournament also carried deep humanitarian significance. The organizing committee awarded scholarships to students with excellent academic and research achievements, spreading the values of sharing and inspiring the younger generation in the construction industry.

Participating in this tournament not only helped Phước Thành FC improve their physical fitness and team spirit but also expanded their relationships with other industry players and the academic community.

This also serves as an important stepping stone for Phước Thành as they prepare to organize the Phước Thành Cup 2025 Football Tournament, which is scheduled to take place later this year.
