On the morning of July 26, 2025, Phước Thành successfully held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Setia Gardens Residences project. The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the attendance of representatives from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of Lai Thieu Ward, the Board of Directors of the Investor S P Setia, the Executive Board of the General Contractor Phước Thành, consultants, supervisors, subcontractors, and distinguished guests. This event marks an important milestone in the journey of creating premium living spaces by S P Setia – one of Malaysia’s leading real estate corporations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Firdauz Othman – Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City affirmed: “Today’s groundbreaking ceremony not only marks the start of a construction project but also stands as a vivid testament to the long-term, strong cooperation between Malaysia and Vietnam. This project reflects innovation, a commitment to sustainable development, and the shared journey of the two nations towards a prosperous future.”
On behalf of the Investor, Mr. Sherman Kam Hock Leong – General Director of Setia Lai Thieu Company shared: “Setia Gardens Residences consists of three towers ranging from 27 to 28 floors, providing 865 premium apartments and shophouses. The project is designed with a modern ecosystem of facilities including swimming pools, fitness centers, spa, playgrounds, co-working spaces, and more, aiming to elevate residents’ living experiences.”
Representing the General Contractor, Mr. Cao Son Hung – Deputy General Director, committed: “As the General Contractor for construction, finishing, and the MEPF system, Phước Thành is committed to mobilizing the best resources to ensure schedule, quality, safety, and transparency throughout the implementation. We are honored to accompany S P Setia in this meaningful project.”
